Our Story
Ellipse Aircraft UK Ltd is the exclusive dealer for ellipse aircraft in the UK. We are dedicated to providing these incredibly capable aircraft that ensure a smooth and safe flying experience. With a focus on excellence, our team guarantees reliable services and is committed to customer satisfaction.
Why The Ellipse?
I have spent the past 7 years and 500 hours flying microlights and I wanted an aircraft that wasn't as easily affected by thermals and turbulence. The elliptical wing on the Ellipse is designed not to be the fastest wing, but the most usable in turbulent and unstable air. I have flown the aircraft in the mountains of the Czech Republic at midday in 30 degree heat and found it to be incredibly stable in turbulence, which when combined with the excellent cruise speed range gives you an extremely capable touring aircraft with an almighty range thanks to 2 x 60 litre wing tanks.
There are two YouTube videos out on the "Let's Go Flying" YouTube channel which I have linked below that provide a good introduction to the aircraft, the factory and the production process.
Now fully type approved as a 600kg microlight with the BMAA and our demonstrator is here in the UK and ready for demonstration flights.
